Photographs at each stage of life are special and meaningful. Photographs are magical. They can instantly take us back to a time and place that was precious to us, and live on to cherish for years to come. Your photographer, Lisa Young captures 'the light' that exists within each person. She makes every effort to help you relax for the best looking expressions and smiles that you know and love. She continues to go above and beyond her clients' expectations by offering the highest quality products and services for less than the competitors.
Besides photographing weddings, babies, children, families and high school seniors, I'm also available for business headshots, modeling portfolios, band photo session or live shows, school portraits, sport teams, any event, party, class reunion or commercial photography. SESSION DETAILS
The session can take place at an outdoor setting of your choice or my suggestion, in the comfort of your own home, or at a colleagues' studio until mine is complete. Orders can be placed right after your session.
As a mother myself, I understand that children are not always co-operative. It takes patience to photograph children. For this reason, my sessions last between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Sessions are not rushed and provide time for feedings, changes or just to let your kids have a break to run around. A change of clothing, snacks and several toys is highly recommended for little ones.
CLOTHING
The key is to keep it simple, allowing focus to be on the individuals and not the clothing. For adults, darker colors tend to be slimming. Solid colors and long sleeves look best and help faces stand out. Prints, stripes, logos, bright colors, and bare arms are distracting in photos. Remember, the goal is to capture the essence of the person/s, not the clothing! If more than one person is to be in the portrait, clothing should be coordinated, but not necessarily match exactly. Clothing with texture, such as jean and corduroy, photograph beautifully in black and white. Please let me know if you have any questions about clothing choices.

Pay $50 for 5 sessions- (newborn, then 3m, 6m, 9m and 12m.) and we'll create a free custom collage of your favorite photo from each session!

The session fee includes photographer's time and talent, preparation of image proofs, password protected online gallery for two weeks and a personalized one on one ordering session. Usually the ordering session is followed by the studio photo session.
Session fees are payable at the time of the session. A deposit of 50% is due before orders are placed. Balance is due when portraits are ready in 2-4 weeks.PRINTS AND PACKAGES
L.A. Images offers prints a la carte as well as in packages. There are numerous packages to choose from and all are discounted from the ala carte print prices.
